11 May edjuster Deploys Field Claims Team to Support in Fort McMurray Wildfires
edjuster, North America’s leading contents valuation Company, today announced the deployment of 75 claims reps to Fort McMurray in North East, Alberta to provide inventory and customer service to the thousands of people who have lost homes and their personal contents.
As the wildfire situation in Fort McMurray appears to stabilize; insurance companies across Canada have now engaged edjuster to deploy mobile response units and are flying in personnel to the province to prepare to assess the damage. Field claims specialists will now begin the long and difficult task of completing inventory claims on homes and properties destroyed and damaged in the fires.
As the Fort McMurray wildfires are shaping up to be among the most catastrophic events of the past 20 years in Canada for insurers, edjuster is stepping up its efforts in field support to assist with the volume and severity of claims processing.
In following the same, identical standards, edjuster is utilizing 45 field staff members from its US market to provide the depth in resources it needs to cover the claims volume capacity and demand of its many clients, and to ensure it does not waiver from its high-level industry performance standards during all of its claims processing activity under the very difficult and catastrophic circumstances.
