25 Feb edjuster announces new business leadership appointments
OTTAWA, ONTARIO — edjuster, North America’s leading contents valuation Company, today announced the appointment of new senior leaders to drive the Company’s rapidly growing Enterprise Business.
Doug Grieve has been named Vice President, Enterprise Sales and will report directly to CEO, Andy Williams. In this position, Grieve will oversee the growth and execution of the Enterprise Business, while ensuring customer satisfaction. Melanie Hughes has been named Director of Operations North America, will report to Andy Williams and manage Operations for the company’s content claims division. Patrick Roy has been appointed as Supervisor for the province of Quebec and will manage the Specialist team as well the electronic assessment division for North America.

Doug has twenty-nine years of experience in the insurance industry in the areas of claims, underwriting, sales and marketing, risk management and general business management. Doug started his career with Firemans Fund/Wellington and remained there until 1995 when he joined St Paul Fire & Marine first as VP of Claims and Loss Control followed by VP Sales and Loss Control. Doug joined edjuster in 2000, while the company was still in its early development stages. He has been instrumental in the company’s growth from an Ontario-based company to its current position as North America’s leading contents Company.
Melanie has 16 years of experience in the insurance industry, having begun her career as a claims administrator at Service d’ajusteur M. Brown ltée while completing her studies at Concordia University. While working as an independent adjuster Melanie also managed SIR claims for one of Canada’s largest financing companies from 2000 until 2007, when she joined edjuster as their first Quebec Contents Claims Specialist. Melanie has since advanced to the position of Director of Operations, North America.
Patrick Roy has over twenty years of experience in the insurance industry, specializing in content evaluation. Patrick began his career as a specialist the assessment of electronic products. He was an estimator at Aventure Électronique and Groupe Dumoulin before joining edjuster’s content claims specialist team in 2008. Patrick will now be supervising the Quebec Content Specialist team as well managing edjuster’s electronic assessment division for North America.
