edjuster Announces Launch of New Specialty Contents Consumer Electronics Division

Leading contents provider to offer full service specialty division for consumer electronics valuation to property insurance carriers

edjuster​, North America’s leading provider of technology enabled end-to-end services for the property contents insurance marketplace, today announced the launch of its new, all-inclusive specialty contents services division for residential and commercial property contents claims involving consumer electronics, computers and major appliances.

Immediate response is critical for damaged electronics, computers and appliances that have been exposed to fire, smoke, water, and other contaminants. Fire soot and smoke residues contain acids that will corrode metal surfaces and are conductive, therefore must be removed from damaged sites quickly. Electronics exposed to water damage need to be dried in a controlled environment and then cleaned of any contaminants in order to prevent irreparable damage. edjuster’s specialty contents team manages all aspects and more during its end to end claims process.

Due to the nature of today’s consumer electronics and computers becoming increasingly complex, edjuster’s expertise in this area is resulting in more items being cleaned and repaired with fewer items assigned a direct replacement cost value.
